Nova ~ Extreme Ice Thanks to Gregory

"I really would not have been able to get the job done without my Gregory Denali Pro!" said James Balog, adventure photographer.

(Okay, he didn't really say that, but he did use one.)

Big Tom of the Egan crew spotted the Denali Pro while watching this episode of Nova, featuring Balog's most recent project, the Extreme Ice Survey, photographing the unprecedented melting of the world's glaciers.  The show is fascinating and a really well done documentation of what is happening to our planet.  Check it out over at PBS where you can watch the whole episode online: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/extremeice/.   NPR also recently talked with James Balog about the Extreme Ice Survey and capturing the "Big Melt".  Check out the NPR photo gallery & hear an interview.
