The Outdoor Retailer Summer Trade Show will be moved forward more than two weeks in 2009 to coincide better with the industry's buying cycles.
    That year's show will take place July 21-24 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in downtown Salt Lake City. This year's market is Aug. 9-12.
    "We are constantly evaluating shifts and trends in the outdoor market, and after thorough research and consideration of all interest groups, it became clear that we need to make this change in order to best serve a broad group of our outdoor specialty business partners," said Joseph Flynn, vice president of Nielsen Sports Group.
